Man Has 'Significant Injuries' Due To Wasp Attack: Report
A man escaping a swarm of wasps in Goodyear fell down the trail he was on, severely injuring his legs in the process.

GOODYEAR, AZ — A man suffered "significant injuries" after being attacked by wasps while on a trail in Goodyear, according to reports. Officials said he was on a trail near Elliot Rd. and Estrella Pkwy.
The Arizona Republic reports Goodyear Fire Chief Tim Wayne as saying that while trying to escape from the swarm, the man fell down the side of the trail, causing his injuries.
Wayne said he suffered "significant injuries" to his legs, but is in stable condition.

Crews were able to make contact with the man about 45 minutes after the accident, Wayne said, due to his remote location. They hoisted him out with a helicopter, got him into an ambulance and transported him for care.
