Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:
- The search for two missing children has been called off. According to police, the two children were found safe and sound. The thirteen-year-old and three-year-old were reported missing on Thursday evening and were thankfully located on Friday morning. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
- Two children were killed and their mother was injured in a vehicle accident Friday morning. According to authorities, a street sweeper fell off the loop 101 overpass onto the I-10 freeway. The two children died from their injuries; the mother is in critical condition at the hospital as of Friday evening. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
- Time to walk like an Egyptian? A new, immersive King Tut exhibition is coming to Scottsdale — less than a half-hour drive from Phoenix — this September. The exhibit will tell the story of the Amduat, the oldest known illustrated story. The exhibit will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tut's tomb in November 1922. Tickets start at $29.99 and can be purchased at the link in the article. (KTAR.com)
