Phoenix City Employees Attend Small Business Transportation Expo

Several city departments will be participating in a small business transportation expo from 8:30 a.m. to noon March 12.

The City of Phoenix Equal Opportunity, Finance, Public Transit, Street Transportation and Aviation departments will be participating in a small business transportation expo from 8:30 a.m. to noon March 12.

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and partner agencies will be holding the expo at the Glendale Civic Center, 5750 W. Glenn Dr., in Glendale. Attendees will be able to talk with leaders from government agencies and other hiring companies in the transportation industry and hear about upcoming projects at ADOT, City of Phoenix Streets Transportation and Public Transit departments, Sky Harbor International Airport and Valley Metro.

Also participating are the Federal Highway Administration and Maricopa Department of Transportation.Small business owners and participants whose roles include finding new contract opportunities will benefit the most from attending.
