Phoenix Firefighters Rescue Baby Ducks From Drain

The seven ducklings were safely reunited with their mother, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

PHOENIX, AZ—Phoenix firefighters are used to putting out fires; however, they responded to a different type of call on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, they received a report that multiple baby ducklings were stuck in a drain in west Phoenix. Firefighters then quickly jumped into action.

After arriving on scene, they discovered seven baby ducks trapped in a drain.

The firefighters were able to safely remove them and reunite them with their mother.

"Liberty Wildlife also responded to ensure the safety of the duck family," the department said on its Facebook page.
