Loop 101 improvement project
The Arizona Department of Transportation has begun a project to widen and improve Loop 101 from Interstate 17 in Phoenix to Pima Road in Scottsdale. Following are current and upcoming restrictions:

- The westbound right two lanes on Loop 101 will be closed between 64th Street and 56th Street from 6 a.m. Sunday, April 19, to 5 a.m. Monday, April. 20.

Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed from Scottsdale Road to Hayden Road from 9 p.m. Friday, May 1, to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2.

Westbound Loop 101 will be closed from Hayden Road to Scottsdale Road from 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 4.
Hayden Road will be closed at Loop 101 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, May 15, to permit work on the widened Hayden Road overpass. Southbound traffic on Hayden Road will still be able to access westbound Loop 101, but northbound traffic will not be able to access Loop 101. Detour on Princess or Mayo boulevards.

Following are specific restrictions and dates: - The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Hayden Road and the eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, April 5, through June. Detour: Exit at Hayden Road and travel south to Pima Road. Use Pima Road to access eastbound Loop 101.
- The westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Hayden Road and the westbound on-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, April 12, through June. Detour: Exit at Pima Road and travel west to Hayden Road. Use Hayden Road to access westbound Loop 101.

Lane closures on Frank Lloyd Wright for road improvements
As part of Scottsdale’s pavement preservation program, the city will be improving Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 100th Street to Loop 101. Intermittent lane restrictions will occur from Sunday, April 26, to Friday, June 12. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times, but expect heavy delays. Please consider detouring on Cactus Road, 94th Street and Loop 101. Driveway entrances along Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard may be closed briefly for 10 to 15 minutes while the road is paved in front of them, but no other interruptions to service or business access are expected.

Southbound Scottsdale Road restricted at Belleview Street
Southbound Scottsdale Road will be reduced to one lane at Belleview Street 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays through Tuesday, April 28, for utility work.
Westbound McDowell restricted at 64th Street
Westbound McDowell Road will be reduced to one lane at 64th Street 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays April 13 – May 13 for utility work.
Hayden Road restrictions from McDowell Road to Thomas Road
Multiple lane restrictions will occur in both directions on Hayden Road from immediately south of McDowell Road to Thomas Road 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays April 10 - 30 for boring, utility work and road work.
