Shapiro Law Team is proud to announce the addition of two attorneys, further strengthening its personal injury practice with both seasoned experience and emerging legal talent.

Attorney Donato Giovanatto joins the firm as a seasoned litigator with a proven track record of multimillion‑dollar recoveries for seriously injured clients. A native Arizonan born and raised in Scottsdale, Giovanatto brings discipline and competitive drive shaped by his early career as a professional outfielder in the Los Angeles Angels organization.

Giovanatto earned his bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. He began his legal career at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, gaining extensive courtroom experience before holding leadership roles at several respected personal injury firms across the Phoenix metro area.

Joining Giovanatto, Louis Hermida returns to Shapiro Law Team as an attorney after previously clerking with the firm during law school. Licensed in Arizona, Oregon and Washington, Hermida is committed to building meaningful relationships with clients and delivering thoughtful, approachable legal representation. He focuses on understanding each client’s goals while making the legal process clear and manageable.

Hermida earned his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and holds a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University. His prior experience with the firm provided a strong foundation in its client‑first approach, making his return a natural next step in his legal career.
