Stolen Pony Reunited With Phoenix Family
Peaches was stolen on Saturday. Luckily, a neighbor found her days later, lassoed her and took her in.

PHOENIX — A family whose beloved family pet was stolen was ecstatic Tuesday as Peaches, a 23-year-old pony, was returned home. Ann Whitess, Peaches' owner, said thieves cut through their fence Saturday and were able to get the pony out, according to a report.
Whitess told FOX10 the days when Peaches was missing were "pretty horrific." Then, Monday night, they got some great news.
Peaches was found nearby in Whitess' neighborhood. A neighbor "went after her, got a rope and lassoed her. Saved her and took her in for the night," Kimberly Balencia, whose uncle found the pony, told FOX10.

Whitess wasn't sure it was Peaches at first, FOX10 reported. "The comment was 'I found your horse - small white horse' - that could mean -- I don't want to say anything, but small is relative," she said.
But the family was filled with joy when they confirmed it was Peaches.

Whitess thinks the thieves just decided to let her go. Now, Peaches is back with her friend Major, another 23-year-old pony.
