Tempe Diablos Charities Open 2026 Grant Applications
Nonprofits Have Until January 15, 2027, to Apply for Funding

Tempe Diablos Charities has officially opened its annual grant cycle and is inviting nonprofit organizations serving the Tempe community to submit applications for funding. The program supports organizations working to improve the lives of local residents through initiatives focused on education, youth development, health, the arts, community enrichment and other impactful services.
For nearly six decades, the Tempe Diablos have invested in programs that strengthen the community and create opportunities for those who call Tempe home. In 2025 alone, the organization awarded more than $700,000 to 98 nonprofit organizations, helping fund programs ranging from educational initiatives and youth mentorship programs to family services, public safety efforts and community support resources.
“Every year, we are inspired by the incredible work nonprofit organizations are doing throughout Tempe,” said Daniel Kyman, Chairman of Tempe Diablos Charities. “Our grant program exists to help those organizations expand their reach, serve more people and create lasting change in the community. We encourage any eligible nonprofit making a positive impact in Tempe to apply by January 15, 2027, and share how they are helping move our city forward.”

“The Tempe Diablos’ continued support has helped AFFCF provide children in foster care with access to activities and experiences that might otherwise be out of reach,” said Amber Cordoba, executive director of Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. “Because of their ongoing investment in our Childhood Activities program, children in Tempe have had the opportunity to create meaningful childhood memories that they can carry with them for years to come.”
The grant program reflects the Diablos long-standing commitment to community leadership and giving back. Since 1968, the organization has awarded over $20 million to local nonprofits, schools and service initiatives.
