Here are the top stories today in Scottsdale:

  1. The Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market is transitioning to "Breakfast at the Market" through June. Though the popular market can still be found at 3806 N. Brown Ave., the hours will be modified to 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Guests will be able to "enjoy listening to tunes as they nibble and shop their way through the market," all while enjoying the cooler morning weather. You can check out a full list of vendors here. (City of Scottsdale)
  2. Remember yesterday's story about the Scottsdale Quarter security guard who was stabbed multiple times while restraining a suspect? The security guard was trying to remove the suspect and another individual from the property before the interaction escalated. The Scottsdale Police Department utilized a real-time crime center to get details about the in-progress incident. Using the city-owned street cameras, they were able to identify the exact location of the scene and know what to expect before getting there. (Fox 10 Phoenix)
  3. As the Arizona Coyotes continue to look for a permanent home in the Valley, Scottsdale entered the conversation after a poll on social media indicated that the city was a top choice among online voters. However, city officials confirmed that Scottsdale has not been contacted regarding the Coyotes relocating here. There is speculation that the Coyotes may be looking into the Fiesta Mall site in Mesa or considering tribal lands for their permanent location. (Scottsdale Progress)
