• Scottsdale commemorates 25th anniversary of 9/11 (yourvalley.net) — Scottsdale will honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a solemn name-reading ceremony on the lawn of the Scottsdale Performing Arts Center, 7830 E. Second St. The event begins at 6 a.m. on Sept. 11 and is expected to last about two and a half hours. Residents are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating.
