Fountain Hills Toastmasters Club Hosting Open House Series

The award-winning Fountain Hills Toastmasters Club is kicking off the year with a variety of fun and informative meetings, where members and guests alike can develop confidence, communication, and leadership skills. The club is hosting a series of three open houses entitled “From Small Talk to Stronger Talk” on Wednesdays, February 4, March 4, and March 25, all centered on the value of effective communication in both professional and day-to-day settings. Attendance is free, registration is not needed, and guests are welcome!

The first session, on February 4, is “Speak Up and Stand Out,” where attendees will learn tools to communicate with confidence in meetings, interviews, and daily life – including speaking when you don’t feel ready and sounding confident even when you’re nervous.

Session two, on March 4, is “Better Conversations, Better Confidence,” with tips for everyone from young professionals to retirees on why speaking skills matter and what knowledge can be gained from Toastmasters.

March 25 is session three, “The Art of Speaking without Panic.” Attendees will find out how to overcome nerves and self-doubt not by being fearless, but by being prepared and building skills one step at a time.

Each open house meeting will include interactive mini-exercises, fun speaking prompts, and informal conversation to ask and answer questions about Toastmasters. Attendees can opt to attend any or all of the sessions, which will begin at 6:30 PM and are expected to last 60 to 75 minutes each. The meetings will be held in the upstairs conference room at the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce, 16837 E. Palisades Boulevard in Fountain Hills. Come a few minutes early to get acquainted!
