Largest-Ever Fireworks Show Headlines Scottsdale Fourth Of July Celebration
Tickets are on sale for Scottsdale's July 4 event, which includes rodeo events, kids activities and a fireworks show.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Scottsdale is going all out for the Fourth of July this year, with organizers billing the WestWorld fireworks show as the largest in the city's history.
The celebration runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at WestWorld of Scottsdale, with fireworks launching at approximately 9 p.m. against the backdrop of the McDowell Mountains.
One thing worth knowing before you go: wind speeds can affect the start time, and organizers have noted the show may be delayed until conditions are safe. Plan accordingly.

The fireworks are the headliner, but there is plenty to fill the hours before the show. The 406 Rodeo brings bull riding, bronc riding, wild pony races and mutton busting for kids.
Other scheduled highlights include a History of Scottsdale Walking Tour with 40 visual milestones, a slider eating contest on the mainstage, a Parade of Heroes, a presentation of colors, the National Anthem and an America 250 reading of the Declaration of Independence. A Backyard BBQ by M Culinary rounds out the food options.
A new South Hall Kids Zone is making its debut this year, split between kid-friendly vendors and face painters on one side and bouncy houses on the other. Bouncy house access is $10 for kids ages 2 to 12 and includes all-day in-and-out access, a hot dog and water, plus parent admission.
Ticket Options
There are a few ways to experience the event depending on your budget and how you want to spend the evening.
The indoor Backyard BBQ package runs $50 for adults and $30 for children ages 6 to 10. It includes indoor access, food, family entertainment and a premium fireworks viewing area.
A general indoor access ticket is $25 for all ages and covers the North Hall, South Hall and Rodeo Arena, with food available for purchase separately. Children 5 and under get in free.
If you would rather watch the fireworks from your car, a Polo Field drive-in viewing option is available for $40 per vehicle. That ticket covers parking and fireworks viewing only and does not include access to the halls or arena inside WestWorld.
The event ends promptly after the fireworks show wraps up.
