• 2 Scottsdale Schools Make Arizona's Top 25 High Schools: U.S. News (patch.com) — Scottsdale families have fresh bragging rights as two local charter high schools earned spots in Arizona's top 25, according to new U.S. News & World Report rankings. BASIS Scottsdale cracked the state's top 10 and national top 100, while Scottsdale Prep also posted strong graduation and college-readiness numbers, highlighting the city's reputation for high-performing schools. 
• Arizona Boardwalk opens 80-foot Ferris wheel with air conditioning (abc15.com) — A new 80-foot-tall, air-conditioned Ferris wheel is now spinning at Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale, offering 15-minute rides with sweeping views of Camelback and the McDowell Mountains. The Boardwalk Big Wheel, the venue's 10th attraction, features 18 enclosed gondolas seating up to six people each, with tickets starting at $9 for the first rider and $6 for additional riders.
• Watch Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky speed through a city intersection (azcentral.com) — Scottsdale residents can now see photo-enforcement images and a short video tied to Mayor Lisa Borowsky's 2025 speeding case, which was dismissed after a citation was never successfully served. Police say the case was handled like any resident's, while Borowsky maintains she never received notice; the dismissal is not permanent under Arizona law.
