Here are the top stories today in Scottsdale:

  1. A video has been released of a suspect breaking into a north Scottsdale home near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and 104th Street while Addy Mower was inside the home housesitting. In the video, the suspect can be seen holding what appears to be a gun. The homeowner's dogs startled the suspect, who ran off while the homeowner called Mower to notify her that they saw someone inside the house. Scottsdale police arrived quickly, and the suspect was never found. (Arizona's Family)
  2. A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $40,000 was purchased from the Convenient Corner Market near Cactus Road and 92nd Street on Tuesday. The ticket "matched four of the five selected numbers plus the Mega Ball for a $10,000 win that was boosted by a 4X Megaplier bonus." Congrats to the winner! (KTAR.com)
  3. Roaring Fork at 4800 N. Scottsdale Road is bringing back "All Night, All Summer Happy Hour" through Labor Day. Offered Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy several happy hour priced food items, including a $13 burger and $11 wings. In addition to the food specials, guests can enjoy $6 wines by the glass and $7 select cocktails. (Arizona Foothills Magazine)
