Security guard downloaded videos of undressed girls at high school in Tempe, docs say (azfamily.com) — Parents of Corona del Sol High School students should know a security guard is accused of secretly downloading camera footage of girls changing in a temporary locker room area in Tempe. Police say he saved and viewed multiple clips, and he's now jailed on voyeurism charges while investigators work to identify any affected students and families. 
2. 2 suspects arrested after deadly shooting at Tempe apartment complex (azfamily.com) — Police have arrested two suspects after a man was fatally shot early Saturday at the Rio Paradiso apartments near Mill Avenue and Washington Street in Tempe. Officers found 24-year-old Tyrone Rios Jr. with multiple gunshot wounds, and investigators have not yet released suspect identities or what led to the shooting.
3. ASU hockey player remains hospitalized after collapsing during workout (azpbs.org) — An ASU hockey player remains hospitalized after collapsing during an outdoor workout in Tempe, where fire-medical crews responded to Sun Angel Stadium for a suspected heat-related illness. The incident came as extreme heat warnings continued and the university's fall semester and official hockey activities began.
4. Two Phoenix officers arrested after violent traffic stop (worldstockmarket.net) — Two Phoenix police officers face assault and kidnapping charges after an allegedly violent, unrecorded traffic stop that ended with the victim's car abandoned in Tempe, where a local officer helped uncover the case. Tempe police played a key role by locating the vehicle, contacting the victims, and triggering the wider investigation.
