Tucson Police need help finding woman and child (kold.com) — Tucson police are asking for your help to find 24-year-old Kathian Albina de la Cruz Cifuentes and her 4-year-old daughter, last seen Sunday afternoon near 22nd Street and Kolb Road getting into a light gray Jeep Rubicon or Wrangler. Officers shared clothing descriptions and urge anyone with information to contact police immediately as the search continues in the Tucson area.
   

2. 'It doesn't get better,' according to an NYC Firefighter (kgun9.com) — A Tucson-based former New York City firefighter and retired Marana police officer is sharing his emotional memories of 9/11, 25 years later, while living in Southern Arizona's dry climate he believes helped save his health. He frequently leaves Tucson to speak with new firefighters nationwide about the sacrifices of that day, urging younger generations who weren't yet born to remember and honor the fallen.
   

3. Pedestrian crash shuts down part of Cortaro Road (kold.com) — A pedestrian crash has shut down part of Cortaro Road near Tucson, and Marana police say the person hit has been taken to the hospital while the road stays closed for about two hours. If you're driving in the northwest Tucson area today, plan extra time and use alternate routes until investigators clear the scene.

Arizona minimum wage rising to $15.65 in January (yumasun.com) — Tucson workers earning minimum wage will see their hourly pay rise to $16 in January, slightly above Arizona's new statewide minimum of $15.65.
