• Depends on the nerds: Tucson Comic-Con brings out fans from all walks of life for fun and fantasy (kgun9.com) — Tucson Comic-Con is taking over the Tucson Convention Center this weekend, with hundreds of exhibitors, cosplay groups and after-hours events at downtown spots like the Rialto Theatre and Hotel Congress. Organizers say the now-regional convention welcomes every kind of fandom, while local groups such as the Arizona Ghostbusters use the gathering to boost charitable work and connect with new supporters.
