• Yuma doctor convicted in $36 million Arizona Medicaid fraud scheme (kjzz.org) — A Yuma physician has been sentenced to prison and ordered to repay $36 million after being convicted of defrauding Arizona's Medicaid system by billing for thousands of X‑rays and treatments that never occurred. Local patients were allegedly used in the scheme, and the doctor has surrendered his medical license and federal prescribing registration.
