• Food 4 Fines initiative to support summer, holiday food programs for kids and families (katv.com) — Atkins residents with eligible district court fines can get $10 knocked off per donated nonperishable food item this October, up to 10 items, through the Food 4 Fines program. Donations made at the Atkins district court and other Pope County courts will stock River Valley Food 4 Kids programs that help children during school breaks and the holidays.
