• Bentonville hosts 'Clean the Streets Day' in partnership with Keep America Beautiful's Great Arkansas Cleanup (nwahomepage.com) — Bentonville residents turned out Saturday morning for a citywide "Clean the Streets Day," joining the Great Arkansas Cleanup effort to pick up litter along streets, trails, and drainage ways. The event, part of a national anti-pollution initiative, highlighted how local volunteers can help reduce waste that eventually reaches oceans and waterways across the country.

• Walmart announces 4th round of cash bonuses for employees (wtaj.com) — Walmart, headquartered in Bentonville, is awarding more than $700 million in additional cash bonuses to U.S. employees, including many local associates, as recognition for their work during the pandemic. Full- and part-time staff will see payments in November and on Christmas Eve, and the company is extending its COVID-19 emergency leave policy into mid-2021 to support workers needing time off for virus-related reasons.

• Opening of Northwest Arkansas' first MS clinic celebrated in Fayetteville (arkansasonline.com) — Northwest Arkansas residents with multiple sclerosis now have a dedicated clinic in Fayetteville, reducing long trips for specialized care and supported in part by Bentonville's Rampy MS Research Foundation. Founders Jo and Scott Rampy helped raise $100,000, building on their Trifest for MS triathlon held each September in Bentonville, to expand local treatment options and research-focused support for about 1,000 area patients.
