• Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus launches 4 new micro-credential programs (rivervalleydemocratgazette.com) — Residents in Ozark now have four new short-term training options at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus, including behavioral health, industrial maintenance, and supervision microcredentials. Designed with industry partners, these programs aim to quickly boost local workers' skills, support manufacturing and behavioral health employers, and create more accessible pathways to better jobs in the River Valley. 
• Wakaan Fest 2026 Set Times Have Landed (thedailyfrequency.com) — If you're heading up to Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Wakaan Fest kicks off its pre-party tonight and runs full force October 1–3 with four days of bass-heavy sets. Liquid Stranger plays multiple times alongside big-name dubstep and EDM acts, with late-night music scheduled at Halo and Chakra stages until sunrise.
