• What Arkansas parents should know about the 'compliment' text targeting students (nwahomepage.com) — Rogers families are being warned about a "compliment" text that links to an anonymous app called Peek, which can access a student's contacts and expose them to unverified users. Rogers Public Schools urges parents and students not to click the link, delete any messages, remove the app if installed, and talk together about safer social media and app use. 
• ASP trooper injured in Benton County traffic stop; suspect arrested (4029tv.com) — A Rogers resident has been arrested after authorities say he assaulted an Arkansas State Police trooper during a Sunday night traffic stop on Highway 62 in Benton County. The trooper was treated for injuries at Northwest Medical Center and released, while the 19-year-old suspect is being held at the Benton County Detention Center on battery and escape charges.
• WATCH: NWA kickboxers bring home medals for Team USA at WAKO Pan American Championships (nwahomepage.com) — Rogers' own TCB Fight Team just brought home multiple medals from the WAKO Pan American Championships, including three golds for local fighters.
