• Many patients face out-of-network reimbursement, effective today - Hot Springs Village Voice (hsvvoice.com) — If you rely on CHI St. Vincent North in Sherwood and have Arkansas Blue Cross coverage, visits there are now treated as out-of-network starting September 1, meaning potentially much higher out-of-pocket costs. The change affects multiple Arkansas Blue plans, though Medi-Pak Medicare supplements are exempt, and some patients may qualify for temporary continuity-of-care coverage while they transition to new providers. 
• Flock Cameras Face Backlash In Florida And Texas (balleralert.com) — A national debate over Flock license plate cameras directly touches Sherwood after an alleged misread by a local camera led officers to briefly detain an innocent couple at gunpoint. As Florida and Texas move to restrict the technology and Pennsylvania considers bans or tighter rules, privacy advocates and police continue clashing over how much surveillance communities should accept.
