Intoxicated Man Drives Self To CHP Office, Is Arrested: Police
"The destination may have been unusual, but the danger was the same," the highway patrol said.

MADERA, CA — An intoxicated driver recently drove himself to a California Highway Patrol office and was arrested, authorities said.
The man arrived at the patrol’s Madera office on Tuesday morning, according to the agency.
“After he entered the lobby, officers noticed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication,” the agency said in a social media post.

He was arrested and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence following an investigation, according to authorities.
“The destination may have been unusual, but the danger was the same,” the post said. “If you drink, don’t drive — anywhere.”
