Remote Learning Offered For AP Students In California
AP students in California and across the country can now take remote classes after in-person AP Exams were canceled due to the coronavirus.
CALIFORNIA — The College Board is offering free remote learning programs for the 3.4 million students enrolled in its Advanced Placement (AP) programs before this spring's at-home AP Exams.
Starting Wednesday, students can access live AP review lessons given by teachers across the United States. A survey of 18,000 AP students showed that 91% wanted to finish their courses, take the exams and earn college credit, the College Board said in a statement.
AP Exams were canceled earlier this month, along with the SAT and ACT tests, due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak across the U.S.

Traditional AP exams will be released by shorter, online exams lasting 45 minutes that can be taken on a smartphone, tablet or computer, the College Board said. (Students without internet access can contact the College Board.)
Two different exam dates will be offered for each subject. The dates will be announced April 3.
