Agoura Baseball Looks to Bounce Back
After a tough tournament loss, the Agoura Chargers Varsity baseball team searches for the silver lining.

The Agoura Chargers Varsity baseball team began non-conference play Wednesday in the SLO (San Luis Obispo) Baseball Tournament.
The Chargers were first matched up against the Mustangs of Trabuco Hills. Agoura fought hard, but was outmatched by a tough Trabuco Hills squad, resulting in a 14–4 loss. Strong performances by Justin Cana (1–1 with a double) and Tyler Cohen (1–2 with a double) kept the Agoura Chargers close for the first three innings. Agoura senior, Chad Clark, and sophomore, Kyle London, also combined for two hits and two RBI's. With the loss, the Chargers move to 6–11 overall and 3–7 in league play.

Agoura Varsity baseball continued tournament play Thursday when it was slated for back to back games beginning at 4 p.m. The Agoura Chargers were first scheduled to play the Dons of Amador Valley. After looking to avenge their Wednesday loss, the Chargers then battled the Oilers of Huntington Beach at 7 p.m. The Agoura Chargers will finish tournament play Friday against an undetermined team.
Agoura's next home game is Monday against the Knights of Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m.
