Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County will raise money by hosting Conejo Valley Days' brand new VIP Experience, May 14 & 15.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC) is partnering with Conejo Valley Days (CVD) to create some BIG fun! Festivalgoers can help support Ventura County’s only one-to-one mentoring program for at-risk youth by visiting the 60th Annual Conejo Valley Days (May 11 through 15, Conejo Creek Park South, Thousand Oaks).
From noon to 6:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15, BBSVC will host Conejo Valley Days’ brand new VIP Experience. VIP Experience guests will enjoy exclusive wine tastings and food sampling. Proceeds from ticket sales to VIP Experience will benefit local BBSVC mentoring programs. Tickets are $27.75 (includes general admission). Tickets are available at the Conejo Valley Days website, www.conejovalleydays.us, until sold out.
BBBSVC will also be selling kettle corn during the entire festival through California Kettle Korn with a portion of the proceeds going to BBSVC.

Big Brother Big Sisters’ kids are being encouraged to take part in CVD activities. They can participate in CVD’s annual Read & Ride program http://www.conejovalleydays.us/read, where kids can read books to earn free ride tickets. In addition, mentors who bring their BBSVC Little Brother or Little Sister receive half off CVD general admission entry tickets purchased at the gate (mentor i.d. required).
“One of the primary goals of Conejo Valley Days is to help local nonprofits raise funds for their important work,” says Mary-Catherine McBride, CVD executive director. “Big Brothers Big Sisters’ effort to connect children facing adversity with one-to-one mentors is a vital service for children throughout Ventura County.”
