Help Kids in Foster Care. Come to Congregation Or Ami's Mitzvah Day

Did you know that more than 400 children go into foster care each year? Many of them only have the clothes on the back. Congregation Or Ami helps these kids by showing them someone cares. Before Mitzvah Day we collect items for the school-aged children in emergency foster care. These items include school supplies, pajamas, activity books, socks, blankets, toiletries, and more. On Sunday, November 2 we gather to assemble and personalize comfort bags full of things all kids need and want when they are in foster care. Spend time creating cards and decorating pillow cases that show someone cares.
