• LA's Annenberg Wildlife Crossing looks unready for December opening (amedpost.com) — Agoura Hills residents should expect weekday daytime closures on Agoura Road beneath the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing through November 30 as crews rush to finish the $92 million project. Despite the construction-site look, officials still plan to open the 101 Freeway wildlife bridge on December 2, with a public celebration at nearby King Gillette Ranch.
   

• Malibu to Soon Begin 8,000-Foot Fiber Communications Network Buildout (westsidecurrent.com) — Agoura Hills is nearly finished connecting to a new regional Smart Cities fiber network that will link local governments, traffic signals, and emergency services across five nearby cities. Malibu's construction starts next month, but the backbone already being completed in Agoura Hills could eventually support better broadband access and smarter traffic management throughout the corridor.
   

• Jonathan Taylor Thomas detained in LA area after allegedly resisting police (myrtlebeachonline.com) — Jonathan Taylor Thomas was briefly detained at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's station in Agoura Hills after allegedly refusing officers' instructions during a traffic stop in Westlake Village. He spent the night in custody before being released without formal charges, with the incident classified as a detention rather than an arrest.
