
Here's a recap of Agoura High School sports from Monday and Tuesday of this week.
Girl's Softball:
- The ladies opened up their season last weekend in the Hart Tournament, ending up with a record of 1-1. They defeated Pacific High School in a close 3-2 game. Stephanie Lord got the win and pitched a complete game. Freshman Brittany Mazal had the game stealing hit which drove Julia Faherty home. Stephanie Lord pitched a complete game, while sophmore Liana Moss had two hits and sophmore Jordyn Paperny scored two runs. The Chargers lost their second game in which coach Chance Redmond says was a great rally. The team plays Saturday at 11 a.m. at Central Park in Valenica.

- The boys lost in a close match against Simi Valley last week with a final score of 425-407. They faced Thousand Oaks on Monday and will take on Newbury Park today at 12:30pm.
- The team took on Birmingham High School on Monday and won 12-3. A number of players had multiple goals including Talia Fiance and Melissa Sheret with three each; Hangemeh Kamali with two goals; and Beth Maiman, Savanah Miller, Emelie West, and Farin Randazzo each with one goal. Jackie Adelsberg ended with three assists. The Chargers will will play at Westridge High School on Thursday at 4 p.m. Their total record is 3-1 now.

- The Chargers start their season at Oaks Christian High School on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. They will take on Calabasas this Friday at 3 p.m. The boys will travel to Harvard-Westlake this Saturday to take on the Wolverines.
- The entire baseball program is in the Easton Tournment through Saturday. The Varsity team is currently 2-1 after their win Tuesday against Alemany. They won 10-8. Last weekend they beat Kennedy High School 7-3.
- The Chargers will take on El Camino High School starting at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The meet is away.
Swimming:
- The program had a meet against Ventura High School on Tuesday and will have a meet at Newbury Park on Friday starting at 3 p.m.
Tennis:
- The boys record is 1-1. They lost last week to Oaks Christian 10-8 in a very close match. Tuesday they took on and defeated Oak Park 15-3. Though this was a non-league game, Coach Eddie Small was impressed by the performances of Chris Popovich, Dennis Neymit, and Jordan Riessen winning single sets. Doubles partners Justin Noodle and Jacob Braunstein, along with Eric Fridstein and Any Turk both won three sets. They will take on Saugus Friday at 3pm.
