22nd National Senior Health & Fitness Day If You Keep Moving...You'll Keep Improving

National Senior Health & Fitness Day

National Senior Health & Fitness Day is a nationwide wellness event for older adults, always held on the last Wednesday of May. This year is its 22nd year and its third year with participation from the City of Alameda. The event is expected to have over 100,000 older adults participate in over 1,000 locations across the county.

The goals of National Senior Health & Fitness Day are to promote regular physical activity, and to showcase the efforts of local organizations that play an active role in improving the overall health of older adults in each community.
