3 Arrests In Alameda Home Invasion Robberies: Police
One resident was injured by the suspects, Alameda Police report.
ALAMEDA, CA — Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping to commit robbery, and assault following an investigation into three home invasion robberies that happened in December, according to the Alameda Police Department. The suspects were arrested in three different counties with the help of the United States Marshals Service.
Police report that on Dec. 6, three people entered three different residences while the victims were inside their apartments and stole property. One victim sustained minor injuries.
Following the home invasion robberies, Alameda Police Detectives worked to identify and locate the suspects.
The arrests were made on Tuesday without incident. One gun was recovered.
All three suspects were booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
The Alameda Police Department credits the Marshals Service and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance. The sheriff's office provided a firearm detecting K9.
