Accused Alameda Armed Robber Arrested: Police

The United States Marshals Service assisted police from Alameda and another agency in the arrest.

ALAMEDA, CA — One man was arrested Monday following an armed robbery investigation that lasted more than a month, according to Alameda Police. One suspect in the case is still being sought.

The robbery happened on Jan. 11.

"This operation was the result of tireless weeks of investigation resulting in a verified address for our suspect outside of Alameda," police said in a social media posting. "Detectives recovered evidence associated with this investigation and took custody of our suspect without incident."
