Alameda County Announces Estuary Bridge Openings

The Alameda County Public Works Agency will be conducting mandatory on-the-job training for new bridge tenders beginning Monday, October 24, 2016, through January 25, 2017. This training will be conducted at all six estuary bridges and will consist of bridge openings and closings intermittently throughout the day and night and may cause intermittent delays of up to 10 minutes during the training period. All efforts will be made to avoid unnecessary bridge openings during peak commute traffic.
