Alameda Home Invasion Robbery: Arrest
A woman and toddler were asleep Wednesday when the suspect broke into the home, police say.

ALAMEDA, CA — One person was arrested on suspicion of burglary, robbery, domestic battery, violation of a court order, and cruelty to a child, according to Alameda Police.
The arrest followed what police call a home invasion robbery that happened at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 400 block of Haight Avenue.
According to a police report, a woman and toddler were asleep when "a known person" entered the home and "committed a series of crimes."

Investigators followed leads and arrested the suspect outside of the city Wednesday evening.
Alameda Police shared credit for the arrest with the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, the Pinole Police Department, and the Alameda County Family Violence Law Center.
