ALAMEDA, CA — Do you believe in guardian angels? Take a look at the bike under the car. According to Alameda Police, the juvenile riding the bike "landed on their feet without major injuries." Impressive. Police did not name the bicyclist or give an age, except to call that person a juvenile.

The crash happened Tuesday morning at the intersection of Island Drive and Oyster Shoals.

Police determined that the bicyclist was at fault for failing to yield to traffic before entering the roadway. "After riding on the sidewalk," police report, "the cyclist entered the road at the same moment a motorist was proceeding into the intersection after they completed their stop at a posted stop sign."
