Alameda Police Arrest Burglary Suspect

ALAMEDA, CA — Thousands of dollars worth of property was stolen from an Alameda business in the 1900 block of Stanford Street on April 10.

A police investigation turned up security footage from a nearby home.

"Over the past month, the team worked tirelessly and identified a 52 year-old San Leandro resident as the responsible person," police said in a social media post. "With the assistance of the San Leandro Police Department, the man was taken into custody and booked into the Alameda County Santa Rita Jail."

Police expect to make more arrests in the case.
