Alameda Police Officers Donating ‘Top Cop Challenge’ Prize Money to Veterans

The officers brought home first place trophies.

ALAMEDA, CA — Two of Alameda Police Department’s officers recently took honors at the annual Top Cop Challenge in Jackson.

Sergeant Matt McMullen and Officer Kevin Horikoshi took first place after competing against 30 other law enforcement officers from California and Nevada.

Police officials say will donate their $3,000 prize to a local nonprofit organization for veterans.
