Alameda Police Seize Loaded Gun From Probationer
The gun, along with narcotics, were found during a traffic stop.

ALAMEDA, CA — An Alameda Police officer recently seized a loaded stolen gun, narcotics and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
The officer was able to search the suspect and vehicle because the driver was on probation.
The traffic stop was initiated when the officer noticed the vehicle making unsafe movements in the South Shore Shopping Center lot.

"In addition to focusing on traffic-related matters, Alameda Police Officers continue to conduct patrol checks in business districts to help ensure the safety of businesses and their patrons," police said in a social media post. "We’d like to thank our business districts for continuing to collaborate with members of APD as we work together for a safer place to live, work, and play."
