Alameda Police Take More Guns Off Street
This brings to four the number of firearms seized in the past few weeks.

ALAMEDA, CA - The Alameda Police Department is continuing to take guns out of the hands of criminals, according to the department.
Last week, the APD reported that a routine traffic stop led to the seizure of a stolen handgun and the arrest of a felon.
That was followed by a sweep of "known criminals" in an an effort by the Investigations Division, Traffic Division, extra patrol officers, and County Probation Department.

The officers seized three more guns, plus drugs, stolen property and illegal gambling machines.
