Alameda Resident's Death Valley Photos

A vacation to Death Valley in 2019 resulted in these beautiful photos.

DEATH VALLEY, CA — Alameda has endless opportunities for beautiful photos, but travel is important for personal growth. As Gustave Flaubert said, “Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.”

Alameda's Tom Brody visited Death Valley with its vast expanses in February 2019. He snapped these photos at Mesquite Dunes, located near the village of Stovepipe Wells. Tom took them using a cherrywood field camera which produced very high quality TIFF files. They were converted to JPEG to transmit to Patch.
