Alameda's 'Quirky Charm' Featured in Sacramento Bee

The Sacramento Bee came to town and found nostalgia, "quirky charm" and "a throwback to earlier, simpler times." 

"Island life certainly carries its charms, especially in a greater Bay Area milieu that favors the trendy over the traditional," says a recent Bee article, "Alameda a nice step back in time."

The story surveys the Island from Alameda Point to Ole's Waffle Shop and quotes several local residents.
