After checking a parking lot where the vehicle was first reported, the officer left and was flagged down by someone who said that a theft had just happened at TJ Maxx. The person had snapped a photo of the fleeing vehicle, which matched the previous report.
The officer forwarded the photo to other officers in the area. One of those officers spotted it and conducted a traffic stop for failure to have license plates displayed on their vehicle. Once backup arrived, the four suspects were taken into custody.
