All-Clear After Brief Shelter-In-Place At School
There was police activity in the neighborhood.
ALAMEDA, CA — There was a brief shelter-in-place order issued at Alameda High School and Alameda Adult School on the AHS campus Monday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
According to school district spokeswoman Susan Davis the order was the result of police activity in the neighborhood.
The situation was quickly resolved, and students were released about two minutes after the usual end-of-the-day bell.
