Award-winning master magician Dan Chan brings his sophisticated sleight of hand to Alameda on Sunday, October 4 at 11 am for his first-ever performance at Rhythmix Cultural Works. Hailed as “an intense three-ring circus rolled into one man,” Chan has staged more than 3,000 live performances since 2003, appearing at venues in Las Vegas, Japan, Mexico and Washington, DC, as well as at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. He has performed private shows for dozens of top corporations, including Intel, IBM, Yahoo, the San Francisco Giants and Google, and has made appearances on ABC, CBS, NBC and MTV. His unique act features illusions, escapes, old-fashioned pick-pocketing and his famous death-defying bullet catch, which has astounded audiences worldwide. Chan’s son, James, age 7, will also appear, performing his own brand new illusions and juggling. Voted San Jose Magician of the Year, Oakland Magician of the Year and Bay Area Magician of the Year! Don’t miss this mind-blowing extravaganza for kids of all ages and kids at heart.
