Amber Alert Canceled: 2-Year-Old Boy Safe

The boy was taken in Oakland on Tuesday, police said.

OAKLAND, CA — A 2-year-old boy who was kidnapped from the Fruitvale area of Oakland at 8 p.m. on Tuesday has been found and he is safe, Oakland Police report.

The toddler, Michael Hamilton, was turned into a police substation Thursday morning. Police do not know who turned him in but they are checking surveillance video.

No arrests have been made.
