β’ Church letter sent in 1955 returned to sender: 'It's kind of delightful that we got it back' (wbtv.com) β Christ Episcopal Church in Alameda just received a baptism certificate that the post office took more than 70 years to return, after it was mailed in 1955 with an incomplete address. The church is now trying to get the keepsake to the woman's family, reflecting both the quirks of the local post office and the congregation's long history of persistence in the community.
