OAKLAND, CA — Police are searching for a man accused of deliberately siccing his dogs onto other canines and people across parks in Oakland, according to an East Bay Times report.
Police say the dogs being used to attack others are possibly Cane Corsos, large dogs that can grow to more than 100 pounds, according to the report.
Authorities believe there may have already been at least a half-dozen attacks, and have left one animal dead and another person injured, according to the report.
A motive behind the alleged attacks remains unclear. There have been attacks so far at Eastshore Park, Joaquin Miller Park, Snow Park, and most recently at Lakeside Park near Children's Fairyland, according to the report.
