The Phnom Penh Restaurant, a Cambodian eating establishment on 8th St in Oakland, has long been a favorite among my friends and neighbors. How delighted we were to dsicover that the family running this wonderful place has opened a new restaurant, The Ankhor Bistro, at 1317 Park Street in Alameda.
The cuisine is true Cambodian, with the sublime and subtle flavors for which they are known, and the ambience is warm and modern. No where elso have we had the friendly and eager service provided by this family, and the Alameda location is even more delicious and comfortable, with very reasonable prices and great menu selections.
