Attic Fire Quickly Extinguished in Alameda Home
The fire in the 900 block of Buena Vista Avenue was reported at 12:22 a.m.

Firefighters contained a house fire in Alameda to the home’s attic early this morning, fire officials said. The fire in the 900 block of Buena Vista Avenue was reported at 12:22 a.m. Firefighters arrived and found heavy smoke coming from the two-story home. They went inside and aggressively attacked the fire, quickly extinguishing it and containing it to the home’s attic, according to the fire department.
No one was injured. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
